Outcast Academy is a grappling and mixed martial arts gym in Armley, Leeds, describing itself as more than a gym. Alongside Brazilian jiu-jitsu, MMA and wrestling, it runs strength and conditioning sessions and offers sauna and ice bath recovery facilities. The programme includes a women's only MMA class, a kids BJJ class for ages seven to fourteen, and open mat sessions that welcome both members and non-members. Training is split across multiple mats, allowing separate MMA and grappling sparring to run side by side. The club presents itself as a close community built around grappling and striking together, rather than a single-discipline club.
