Phoenix BJJ is an IBJJF-registered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Marlborough, Massachusetts. It runs gi and no-gi classes for adults, along with age-grouped kids programs that start as early as age three. Training moves from fundamentals and live drills into situational sparring, and open training sessions give students extra mat time. The academy was founded by Dan Phoenix, a black belt with more than fifteen years of competing and coaching who trained with Kron Gracie. He is joined by head instructor Cleito Soares Junior, a black belt since 2014 with national and international competition titles. The team regularly competes at events such as the Masters World. The academy also offers self-defense and pad-work programs, and private lessons are available.
