Resilient Jiu Jitsu is an IBJJF-certified Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in historic downtown Marianna, Florida, founded by Brazilian black belt Gabriel Montuani. The academy teaches gi and no-gi to a broad community: young children from the toddler years, kids, teens, women, adults and working professionals, with a fundamentals class for newcomers. It also runs adaptive classes for athletes of all abilities, including special-needs students, and offers private elite coaching. Students compete in regional IBJJF and NAGA events and take part in regular promotion ceremonies, open mats and community events. The name reflects the town's recovery after Hurricane Michael, and the academy is settling into a renovated historic building.
