Rise Grappling

Rise Grappling, formerly Stealth BJJ NI, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Newtownards, County Down. It teaches both gi and no-gi, with classes for complete beginners through to experienced and competing grapplers. Younger students are catered for in separate kids' and teens' groups, and there is a structured beginners' course for newcomers. The academy is led by its owner, an IBJJF-certified black belt who has won medals at European and British level, and is registered with the IBJJF. Open mats give students extra time to roll, and a competition team trains under the Rise Grappling name. Early-morning and daytime sessions sit alongside the evening classes, so training can fit around work or school.
