Manchester's original BJJ & MMA gym, established 1999 by Karl Tanswell, still trading under the SBG (Straight Blast Gym) international affiliate banner. City-centre location five minutes from Piccadilly Station. Coaching team includes multiple IBJJF and Abu Dhabi World Pro competitors and a professional MMA fighter who has represented England internationally (IMMAF) and coached UFC/PFL/Rizin-level athletes. Offers BJJ, no-gi, kickboxing, boxing, wrestling and MMA across a full weekly timetable, plus a dedicated kids programme (6-11) and a teens tier (14-17).
