Serg BJJ & Fitness is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in the Southpoint Shopping Center in Savannah, Georgia. It is led by Michael Sergi, a second-degree black belt and the first American to earn black belt under Marcio "Pe De Pano" Cruz, and it is registered with the IBJJF. The schedule covers gi and no-gi training, a women's-only class, a black-belts-only session and a weekly open mat, with private lessons available. The academy presents jiu jitsu as both sport and self-defense, and beginners train alongside experienced students in a supportive but competitive atmosphere. Fitness and running programs are also offered, and the academy can arrange seminars at other locations.
