Staley Martial Arts is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Wilmette, on Chicago's North Shore, and part of the Carlson Gracie Team. Founded in 2017, it teaches gi and no-gi BJJ to kids, teens and adults, alongside adult Muay Thai and a kids' wrestling component. The academy is led by Professor Midhad Zulic, a second-degree black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr, who also visits for periodic seminars. A dedicated beginner course, a youth program starting at age four, women's self-defense seminars, open mats and private lessons give newcomers and experienced grapplers a clear path. The school is IBJJF-registered and has a family-run, community-minded feel.
