Team Shark is a community-minded martial arts academy in Wandsworth, south-west London, training at the Wandle Recreation Centre dojo and running further sessions at Battersea. It teaches Muay Thai, K1 and American Kickboxing, boxing and the traditional art of Muay Boran, with Thai Krabi-Krabong weapons tuition also mentioned. American Kickboxing is the one style with a ranked belt grading system. The club is licensed by the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association and says its roots go back to 1976. Beginners are welcome, loan equipment is available, and there is a women's Muay Thai offering plus a discount for emergency services and armed forces. An on-site kinesiology taping service and a gear shop support members.
