The Lair Jiu Jitsu is a family-oriented academy in Glendora, California, led by owner and head coach Mike Flach. It teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu in both gi and no-gi, alongside wrestling and MMA, with separate programmes for preschoolers, kids, teens and adults. Beginners are welcome through dedicated fundamentals classes, there is a women's-only session, and a no-gi competition class and MMA sparring serve those who want to test themselves. The academy is IBJJF-registered, and its youth team competes regularly in tournaments. Memberships carry no contract, and newcomers can try a free class first. Parents can sit and watch kids' sessions or leave their children with the coaches. The gym draws students from Glendora and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley towns.
