The Next Element Academy is a veteran-led, locally owned martial arts school in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, open since 2018. It teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu in both gi and no-gi, boxing, Muay Thai and wrestling, with programs for kids from age 5 and for adults with no experience required. The academy is run by a retired professional MMA fighter and U.S. Air Force combatives instructor who earned his BJJ black belt under UFC veteran Kurt Pellegrino. Coaches include competitors and professional fighters in several disciplines. An established fight team, regular open mats, a gear shop and a welcoming visitor policy round out the offering. A sister academy operates in Pawleys Island.
