Trasso Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling is a grappling academy in Glen Rock, New Jersey, led by head instructor Michael Trasso, a decorated IBJJF competitor and former NCAA wrestler. The school teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in both gi and no-gi, plus wrestling classes designed to sharpen takedowns for jiu jitsu. Adults can start in a structured intro program or fundamentals classes, while children from preschool age through the early teens train in age-based groups. The academy also runs open mats, private lessons, self-defense instruction, seminars and summer camps, and is the home of Merge Grappling. Its youth team has earned strong results at Grappling Industries events. Facilities include showers, and the mats are sanitized daily.
