Vital Brothers BJJ is a military-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in North Miami, led by 4th-degree black belt and judo black belt Prof. Renan Vital, a multiple-time world and Pan American champion. The school runs under the motto "Stronger Together" and uses a rhino mascot, with kids' programs named Tiny Rhinos and Little Rhinos. Training is organized by age, from small children through youth and teens to adults, with all-level classes for beginners and advanced youth groups. Private lessons are available, and the academy is an approved Step Up For Students provider. It has been named a Best of Florida winner and runs special events such as a homeschool open house. Only the official academy uniform is worn in both gi and no-gi classes.
