Willows Jiu Jitsu & MMA is a small-town academy in Willows, California, led by its owner and head instructor, an IBJJF black belt and multiple-time world champion who also competes in professional MMA. The school teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in both gi and no-gi, a hybrid striking class built on Muay Thai, boxing and American kickboxing, and full MMA. Kids' classes combine jiu jitsu with wrestling and emphasize confidence, self-defense and anti-bullying skills. Beginners and women are explicitly welcome, and no experience is needed to start. The coaching team includes a local wrestling club founder and a retired professional MMA fighter and boxer, and students who want to compete can find opportunities in tournaments and sanctioned fights. Private lessons are also available.
