Base Boxing is a community amateur boxing club in Edmonton, north London, built around the idea of empowering people through the sport. It runs separate sessions for children, an all-abilities boxercise class covering fundamentals and boxing workouts, and an advanced session for amateur boxers, with a ladies-only group also listed. More than twenty fighters train with the club, which is led by a head coach supported by an assistant and further boxing coaches. Members describe it as welcoming, and the club takes part in local charity fundraising and community events, including a sports day held at a nearby athletics centre.
