SKA Karate Masters is a North London Shotokan karate group that has been running for decades by its own account. Its Edmonton branch meets in the sports hall of Latymer Secondary School, with classes open to juniors and adults of all ages. Lessons are taught step by step by black belt instructors, with an emphasis on self-defence, confidence and fitness. Adults and families are especially welcome, and a family discount is available. Newcomers can start with a short beginner's course that includes a free karate suit, and enrolment can be done online, by phone or on the day. The group also runs several other branches across North London, Hertfordshire and Cambridge.
