A beginner-friendly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling club based inside CrossFit Shropshire at Berrington, near Shrewsbury. It trains in small, controlled groups with an emphasis on calm, ego-free learning, and it welcomes newcomers as well as experienced belts. The club runs under the Fighting Fit BJJ & MMA banner, a group headquartered in Stone, and is affiliated with black belt Chris Paines, who visits the club from time to time. It was formerly known as Dam Strong BJJ. A concepts-based six-week beginner course has also been offered for people starting out, and members can make use of the CrossFit gym on the same site.
