Family-friendly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Portland, Oregon, led by owner and head coach Tom Oberhue (training since 1984, black belt 5th degree). Operating for over 15 years, the gym features a large coaching staff of black and brown belts. The kids program, built on the Skillz Martial Arts framework, offers age-banded classes (Samurai for ages 5–6, Dragons, Warriors, and Shinsengumi for ages 7–16) with a structured belt and stripe system. Adult classes include both gi and no-gi training with regular sparring and competition opportunities. The academy hosts twice-yearly self-defense modules and periodic friendship tournaments with schools in Salem and Seaside.
