Life Karate is a small, adults-only Kyokushin karate club in Barnes, south-west London, training in a church hall beside Barnes Pond. It is led by Sensei Fatima Erkenova, a 4th Dan black belt with more than fifteen years of coaching experience. The club is affiliated with So-Kyokushin United Kingdom, which sits under the So-Kyokushin headquarters in Japan, and gradings and certificates are recognised within that federation. Classes welcome complete beginners as well as experienced students aged 18 and over, covering kata and knockdown-style training. Students take part in federation tournaments and seminars, and private tuition is also available in the studio or at the client's own location.
