Patriot Martial Arts Academy is a veteran-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Machida Karate gym in Queen Creek, Arizona. Founded by Coach William "Rhett" Sandoval, a decorated U.S. Army veteran, the academy offers authentic training in two distinct martial arts under one roof—a rare combination outside the Machida family's lineage. Coach Rhett is a IBJJF Black Belt under Professor Carlos Farias, with roots tracing to the Gracie family, and holds a Black Belt in Machida Karate directly certified by Sensei Chinzo Machida. The academy serves all ages and experience levels with competitive team opportunities and open mats for the community.
