A UK branch (opened October 2024) of the legendary Rio de Janeiro school founded in 1992 by José "Zé" Henrique Leão Teixeira Filho—an 8th-degree coral belt and Rolls Gracie black belt trained in the 1970s, former CBJJ Vice-President, and co-founder of Gracie Barra's original children's programme. This marks his first school outside Brazil. The school publishes its full lineage back to Jigoro Kano and Mitsuyo Maeda. Hosted in Bannatyne Health Club in Maida Vale, London, it offers term-time youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes (gi and no-gi), unlimited adult group classes, a family package, and private one-to-one tuition.
