The Ring Boxing Club is a boxing gym in Southwark, central London, taking its name from the historic Ring arena that once stood on nearby Blackfriars Road. It was re-launched in 2003 by professional coach, manager and promoter Mark Burford and positions itself as a place that trains both professional boxers and busy professionals. The club offers boxing fitness, one-to-one personal training with a small team of trainers, HIIT sessions and supervised sparring classes grouped by ability, from foundation level to open technical sparring. Members get door-entry access to the gym, while non-members can book classes on a pay-as-you-go basis. The club also hosts live professional boxing shows, runs corporate and white collar boxing programmes, and supports The Ring Foundation, a children's charity.
