The Resistance is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in High Barnet, north London, registered with the IBJJF. It runs classes for adults and children, covering both gi and no-gi training, with sessions open to all levels alongside dedicated competition sparring. The academy has an active competition team whose members regularly compete at IBJJF events at home and abroad, as well as at local opens, interclubs and grappling invitationals. Regular promotion nights mark students' progress through the belts, and the club also hosts seminars. Newcomers can arrange a trial class before joining.
